Central Switzerland’s Solothurn classics is considered one of the best of its kind and attracts scores of opera friends from near and far. Operas and operettas include those of Gounod, Puccini, Verdi, Rossini and Mozart. Evening concert events take place on the St. Ursen-Bastion by fine weather, and in the case of poor weather, inside the Rythalle Solothurn (vis-à-vis from St. Ursen-Bastion).
