Description
Worth seeing - the eleven churches and chapels in Solothurn. The mighty Cathedral of St. Ursus is an important monument. The Jesuit church is described as one of the most beautiful baroque monuments in Switzerland. The St. Peter's chapel displays post-gothic elements with a choir closed on three sides and lancet windows. The Franciscan church, formerly the monastery church of the Franciscan monks, continues to serve as a place of worship today.
