The Aare Lodge is located in the heart of the vibrant Attisholz area – right on the banks of the Aare River, surrounded by nature, street art, and cultural projects. Its proximity to the city of Solothurn makes it the perfect starting point for curious explorers.

This charming lodge offers 11 rooms on the first and second floors of the historic Attisholz canteen building. Nine rooms feature a private bathroom, while two share a communal bathroom on the same floor. With self check-in, you can enjoy a flexible and hassle-free stay at any time.

On the ground floor, the 1881 Kantine invites you to discover creative, seasonal, and regional cuisine – ideal for a relaxed lunch or a stylish dinner experience.

By Car
From Solothurn, follow Zuchwilstrasse, then turn onto Jurastrasse. At the first roundabout, take the first exit toward Aarestrasse. Just before the Biogen building, turn right onto Attisholzstrasse/Fabrikstrasse (dead end).

By Bus
From Solothurn train station, take bus lines 9 or 10 (line 10 runs Monday to Friday only). Services run approximately from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday to Saturday. Nearby stops: Luterbach Attisholz, Nordstrasse, or Luterbach Bahnhof Nordseite.

By Train
Take the regional train on the Solothurn–Olten line to Luterbach-Attisholz station. Trains run every 30 minutes. From the station, it’s about an 8-minute walk to the hotel.

By Bike
It takes about 15 minutes to reach the Aare Lodge from Solothurn by bike. The lodge is located along national cycling routes 5 and 8.
