The Klosterherberge Solothurn is a unique accommodation in the historic guest wing of the Namen Jesu monastery. With six stylishly renovated rooms and a quiet, monastic atmosphere, it combines tradition and modern hospitality. The digitally managed business leaves room for your own daily routine and is a place of relaxation and inspiration. The rooms are newly renovated and have their own en-suite bathroom with shower in the corridor. 

Arrival (Check-in/Check-out)

Totally digital: guests receive all the information they need for check-in and check-out in advance by e-mail. This is because there is no actual reception desk on site. The door is opened conveniently and easily with your own smartphone. The monastery hostel also offers many amazing extras, such as a cosy common room with coffee, tea and fresh fruit, free bicycles and use of the beautiful monastery garden with various secluded spots to relax.

• Check-in from 15.00 hrs
• Check-Out until 11.00 am

How to get there:

• From the main railway station: Bus number 4 in the direction of Rüttenen to the Bergstrasse stop. The monastery is opposite.
• Motorway A5: Exit Solothurn West, first set of traffic lights towards Biel, straight on at the roundabout, second set of traffic lights straight on. The monastery is located at the bus stop (on the right).

Conditions/extras

Breakfast can be booked at the nearby Baseltor restaurant for an additional charge.
