The "Vorstadt" or "mindere Stadt" as it used to be called has its own peculiar history. It is the site where the social buildings, hospital, prison, workhouse, and much more were built. During the tour you will get to know many exciting things about past times and why the upper class did not reside in this part of the town. Are you curious? Be ready for some surprises !

Can be booked online or purchased at the Tourist Office at Hauptgasse 69 in Solothurn. Tickets are limited – hurry, it’s worth it!

Solothurn Tourism members (by prior registration at the Tourist Office) and children up to 16 years of age benefit from free participation on a guided tour of the Old Town of Solothurn. A discount of CHF 10.00 is granted on themed tours.
