Attisholz Areal

From factory zone to urban meeting place. Cellulose was produced industrially on the Attisholz site for 130 years. Since the end of 2016, Halter AG has been working with the municipality and the canton to find a new use for the site with its exceptional location characteristics for future generations.

The impressive appearance of the industrial complex, with its large and imposing buildings, is to be preserved and carried into the future, as it bears witness to an important, albeit bygone, era.
