The fresh baked goods from the "Bäckerei Müller" offer an unmistakable taste thanks to their wood oven. In addition to breads - which are available with a wide variety of raw materials and in all shapes - Chnebeli, Meitschibei and apricot pockets are the flagships of the business.
There has been a bakery at Pfisterngasse 12 since 1860, and from 1887 it was in the hands of the Müller family for four generations. In 1987, Ruth and Richard Felder took over the business and ran it for 30 years. Since October 2017, Katrin and Christian Peters have now been heating the wood-fired oven of the "Müller Bakery". The oven with natural fireclay bricks is unique of its kind in Switzerland and, apart from company vacations, is kept constantly under fire. About 90 percent of the production runs on the wood-fired oven, including most of the confectionery. The best ingredients, such as fresh milk and anke from the Chäsi, are also part of the recipe for success and ensure the incomparable taste experience.

Sustainable, Food Waste
Unsold products are sold before closing time as "Short before closing" goods or the next day as "Fresh from yesterday". Some products are also recycled by the bakery itself.
In addition, the Müller bakery supports the organizations "Tischlein-Deck-Dich" and the Gassenküche Solothurn. This means that there is no food waste.
