With a long children's ropeway, slide, swings and climbing elements, the Chantierwiese playground invites you to linger. In addition, the large meadow offers space to play tag, romp around or have a picnic. Located behind the Baseltor, the playground is easily accessible and a popular meeting place for families. Right next door is the Solothurn bird aviary. Around 180 parrots, parakeets, finches, pigeons and quails live here and can be observed.
How to get there
On foot: The Chantierwiese is a 10-minute walk from the main railway station.
By car: Right next to the playground is the Baseltor multi-storey car park. Address: Pisoniplatz 2, 4500 Solothurn
