From May to October, the boats of the Bieler Schifffahrts-Gesellschaft operate on the Aare between Biel and Solothurn, connecting Biel, Grenchen, Büren an der Aare and Altreu with the city of Solothurn.
The journey from Biel to Solothurn is a special experience. On Switzerland’s longest water route, the cruise takes around three hours and operates daily. Along the way, you pass the Port lock, the stork colony in Altreu, the town of Büren an der Aare, and the gently passing Jura hills.

TCS Camping Solothurn is located directly on the banks of the Aare and has its own boat harbour. TCS Camping and the Landi pier offer visitor parking spaces for private boats. At TCS Camping, visitors can use the campsite and harbour infrastructure for a parking fee of CHF 15.00.
