The 44th edition of the Solothurn Literature Days will take place from 10 to 12 May 2024 – both on site and as a live audio stream for at home or on the road. At the centre of the programme is the «Werkschau» – moderated readings and talks by more than 80 invited authors and translators with their new publications in the fields of prose, poetry, youth and children's literature, spoken word, graphic novels and translations. Another focus is on roundtable discussions on socio-political and literary topics. An innovation is the outdoor stage in front of the St. Ursen stairs: together with Regiobank Solothurn, the Literature Days are offering the people of Solothurn 16 free readings. Stroll around, stop, sit down, listen and discover.

The Children's and Young People's Literature Days (JuKiLi) are also an integral part of the Solothurn Literature Days, where authors and illustrators from the Swiss children's and young people's book scene present their new publications to many school classes in the form of readings and workshops before the Solothurn Literature Days.
