Skating
The Mittelland Skate route no. 3 connects Lake Constance and the Drei-Seen-Land region. For much of the way, the route traces the southern foothills of the Jura Mountains. Although challenging, the route is thoughtfully divided into stages appropriate for a range of skill levels. The Skatingland Switzerland network comprises three national routes, two of which (numbers 1 and 3) connect to form a 450 kilometre-long path between the St. Gallen Rhine Valley and Lake Neuchâtel. It is Europe’s longest designated inline skating route. You can find more information on the Solothurn–Biel stage here.
