Concerts, musicals and a fairytale forest are just some of the highlights of Grenchen's varied and successful Christmas market, which is now in its 25th year.
Mulled wine, punch and mandarins - the pre-Christmas period with its unmistakable aromas makes the cold season cosy for many people. From Friday, 13 December, the 25th Grenchen Christmas Market in Grenchen will celebrate ‘Wiehnacht für alli’ in a dignified and atmospheric way after two years of enforced Covid break. Around 50 exhibitors with a wide range of arts and crafts, Christmas gifts and agricultural products invite you to stroll around.
All activities take place on the Grenchen market square and are free of charge.
On the Sunday of the Christmas market, 13 December, as well as the following Sunday, Grenchen businesses invite you to a Sunday sale. The festive opening ceremony of the Christmas market will take place on Friday 13 December at 5 pm in front of the music tent.
Everyone is cordially invited to attend.
