Classionata Solothurn | Musikfestival 10.–13. April 2025
The Classionata Music Festival with conductor and artistic director Andreas Spörri, international soloists and the Vienna Volksoper Symphony Orchestra will take place in the Solothurn Concert Hall from 10-13 April 2025.
Five events will take place over four days. The Sunday matinée "A Musical Morning Walk" offers a colourful bouquet of works of light symphonic classical music. Since Classionata was founded in 1999, Andreas Spörri, as Artistic Director, has been keen to promote collaboration between young, local talent and professional orchestras. The sought-after clarinet soloist Bernhard Röthlisberger will perform at the Sunday matinée together with his extremely talented Solothurn pupil Mira Hostettler. The clarinet virtuoso works will be accompanied by popular classics by Franz Liszt, Giuseppe Verdi and Franz von Suppé, among others.
