Concert: 29 August 2026 | Mozart Brilliantly Youthful
On the 270th birthday of the Salzburg master, Mozart highlights will be heard in Solothurn in August. The program includes Symphony No. 29 in A major, KV 201, Violin Concerto No. 5 in A major, KV 219, and Symphony No. 25 in G minor, KV 183.
All good things come in threes: For Ever Mozart
In August, Mozart highlights will resonate in the beautiful Baroque city, making the third Mozart Festival Solothurn a true event. The renowned Salzburg-based orchestra Péridot, under the direction of Peter Peinstingl, will once again bring historically informed Mozart sound to the Ambassador City. Robert Kolinsky, a true Solothurn musician with Czech roots, can be heard, renowned not only as a pianist but also as the director of the Martinů Festival. Lisa Schatzman, concertmaster of the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra and acclaimed soloist, will also bring her international fame to the concert stage. Young Mozart tenor Remy Burnens, on the brink of a major career, will be a guest at the Mozart Festival Solothurn.
