Event details
For the opening of the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris in 1977, Bernhard Luginbühl (1929-2011), Jean Tinguely (1925-1991), Niki de Saint Phalle (1930-2002) and Daniel Spoerri (* 1930) create a 30-meter long, walk-in collaborative work of art: the "Crocrodrome". The Kunstmuseum Solothurn is in possession of the design drawing that Bernhard Luginbühl made during several months of construction in Paris. It is signed by "Zig & Puce"; the pseudonym used by the artist friends as a team. The drawing forms the starting point for an exhibition that traces the "Crocrodrome" and brings other works by the participating artists into play.
