Christmas is just around the corner. Heidi lives with her grandfather down in the village during the winter. She loves Geissenpeter's grandmother as if she were her own and is determined to visit her on Christmas Eve. A heavy snowstorm prevents her from doing so. But when her grandfather runs errands, Heidi can't stop herself: She makes her way out of the village to visit her sick grandmother - and gets terribly lost. With a newborn kid under her coat, she wanders through the wilderness and saves herself with a lot of skill and a Christmas touch of providence...
Following the sensational success of "Eiger", Fabian Müller and Tim Krohn bring another piece of Swiss history to the TOBS stage with "Heidi celebrates Christmas". The production will be directed by Anna Drescher (whose credits include "Zaïs", "Dido and Aeneas" and "Die Weisse Rose") and conducted by Kaspar Zehnder. This world premiere promises to be an opera experience for the whole family!
