“I’d Love to Be a ‘Ching’ at the Castle”: A Day as “…von Besenval”
What was it like to live in a castle as a child? On “Holiday Fun Wednesday,” girls and boys ages 8 to 12 spend a morning immersing themselves in the life of a noble family at Waldegg Castle. With costumes, Baroque “Besenval” names, and an extra dose of imagination, they become young nobles themselves: They’ll explore the castle, learn courtly manners, play Baroque games, and at the end, they’ll even be “ennobled” for their efforts.
A morning full of history, games, and costumes for everyone who’s always wanted to know what life in a castle was like.
