Themed tour: The bells of St Ursen
What's waiting for you
After climbing to the belfry, we will introduce you to the bells with their inscriptions, to whom they are dedicated and what special functions they have. And perhaps you will recognise a melody when you strike certain bells?
With its eleven bells, St. Ursen has the most polyphonic peal of bells in Switzerland. Nine of them date back to the time of construction and were cast by Solothurn founders. You can marvel at and admire the belfry and the richly decorated baroque bells from close up during a guided tour.
