TOBS! presents a poetic language play by Händl Klaus, staged by Mélanie Huber. A confusion between characters full of absurd comedy.
by Händl Klaus
Gunter has completed an assignment as a doctor without borders and gets off the train too early on his way home to his parents. In the scorching heat, he meets the Flick brothers at the train station in a deserted town. They invite him into their apartment by means of intrusive hospitality and introduce him to Hedy, their sister. The former nurse takes care of him. A highly comical and linguistic game of confusion ensues between the characters, a tug-of-war between rapprochement and repulsion.
With this play by Händl Klaus, TOBS! presents another Biel voice. The Austrian writer, who has lived in Biel for many years, has created his own theatrical language in his award-winning plays, which connects the characters with each other in such a way that they do not exist without the others. After "Dunkel lockende Welt" at the Schauspielhaus Zurich, Mélanie Huber is staging her second play by Händl Klaus with this poetic language piece full of absurd comedy.
