Restaurant Fischerstube
The Fischerstube in Altreu is a bijou in the area of the Selzacher Witi.
Description
The married couple Andrea and Daniel Fischer run the elaborately renovated restaurant with a lot of joy and great skill. The passionate service specialist Andrea Fischer loves her job and the guests and it is noticeable that it is close to her heart to spoil the guests. She infects everyone with her enthusiasm. And rightly so, her husband Daniel conjures up excellent menus in the kitchen with products from the region, always adapted to the season. There is something for everyone and for every budget, be it the widely known Fischchnusperli, a burger with the finest ingredients or a Cordon bleu.
Altreu is a small village on the Aare - wonderfully situated for excursionists. Be it for cyclists, pedestrians or guests arriving by boat or car. Altreu became famous through the stork settlement, which was founded at that time by stork father Max Blösch. About 50 pairs of storks currently settle in Altreu and the surrounding area and care for and nurture their brood in the spring. A visit to the Witi information center with its wealth of information about the storks and the fauna and flora of the region is well worthwhile. The chattering of the storks is part of it, when the guest sits comfortably on the beautiful terrace and enjoys himself.
