Megalith path in Solothurn

"The Megalith path in Solothurn is located in the woods of the Bürgergemeinde. It contains a total of 13 sites, all of which are natural or cultural landmarks. We walked the entire pathway in one go, which took us around 4 hours. The pathway also led us through the Verena gorge and we passed by the Einsiedelei. The Megalith path project in Solothurn initiated by Steinmuseum Solothurn is a great success and is certainly worth the walk."

With breaks, the walk takes around 2.5 hours.
The route can be completed in 2 parts (stations 1–8 and stations 9–13)

Good to know
The starting point for the Megalith path is located on the car park of Schloss Waldegg. From the Solothurn main station, you can get there with Bus No. 4 in the direction of Rüttenen, getting off at the St. Niklaus station. From there, walk up the street next to the church and then eastwards to the car park.

Follow the white direction signs with the stickers "Solothurner Megalithweg" (Megalith path in Solothurn), the white rhombuses and the white arrows.

Restaurant Pintli is located approximately halfway along the path.
