Mittelland Skate (Route No 3)

"Fancy crossing Switzerland on roller skates? This may seem like an ambitious adventure, but actually you just need to plan the stages of your route and the rest will take care of itself…well, almost. The start of this route will give you the perfect warm up along the shores of the lakes of Neuchâtel, Morat and Biel. The next stage runs through rural landscapes but demands more effort, however after climbing up and downhill which I managed fairly well, I decided to skip the toughest section and catch the train. My journey continued along the river Aare via Lenzburg towards Zurich. I was delighted to arrive at St. Gallen where I had a stroll through the old town and discovered the nightlife. I planned to end my trip at Lake Constance, as I was in a hurry to try my hand at windsurfing…a sport that doesn't give you blisters."

The full route comprises 12 stages entre Romanshorn and Neuchâtel.
