History of the castle
Alt-Falkenstein Castle was probably built around 1100 on the strategically important road through the Klus. Today, the castle is owned by the Canton of Solothurn and is managed by the Alt-Falkenstein Museum and Castle Association. Visit the museum and learn more about the eventful history of this historic landmark.
