For more than 50 years, this festival has powered Swiss film culture and served as a hub of creative exchange. Find your Flow Festival

Find your Flow" is primarily dedicated to the dance styles of hip-hop: breaking, popping, house, and locking. Dancers from four continents compete in hip-hop, breaking, or many other dance styles. Over 100 crews perform rehearsed choreographies in the showcase competitions or face off against each other in battles.

In 1947, a group of young Swiss wrestling enthusiasts took it upon themselves to revive the Swiss wresting festival. Since then – with just four exceptions – the event has been held annually and over time has developed into an enormously popular festival on Solothurn’s local mountain. A stone-throwing contest was also introduced at the same time as the Swiss wrestling.

Christmas
At Christmas, Solothurn is resplendent with twinkling lights. Fans of nativity scenes are drawn to Switzerland’s finest baroque town to see a unique rarity in the form of the ‘The Franciscan Sisters' Rococo nativity scene. The period leading up to Christmas is packed with activities, including guided Advent tours, Christmas markets, concerts and atmospheric shopping in the Old Town, or the Christmas story brought to life in a play.
