Solothurn can be reached very easily by car. Switzerland's most beautiful baroque city can be reached via the Solothurn Ost motorway exit. Solothurn Ost has motorway connections in the direction of Zurich, Bern or Biel.
Once you have arrived in Solothurn, we recommend parking your car in one of the three multi-storey car parks during your stay. Only residents, feeder cars and hotel guests are allowed to drive through the Old Town of Solothurn. From 11.30 a.m. on the Old Town is car-free and access to the city centre is only permitted with a licence.
