Museum ENTER
The Museum ENTER tells the story of the computer and of entertainment technology.
Description
The ENTER will be open in Solothurn until the end of May 2023. After that, the exhibition will be closed - electronics workshops will continue to take place. At the end of 2023, the ENTER technology world in Derendingen will open its doors with a completely new concept comprising an exhibition, academy and meeting place.
From the first radio transmitter in Switzerland to an Autophon TV, the first Swiss mobile phone ‘Natel A’ and an Apple-1 computer, there are over 10,000 items on display. This extensive collection of working computer hardware and software, peripheral devices, computing machines and radio, TV and telecommunications devices is of international significance. Among other things, Museum ENTER boasts the largest physical collection of working Apple devices in Europe. The museum is located directly to the south of Solothurn station.
