The traditional Chlausemäret Solothurn gives the oldest square in the city a magical atmosphere with its Christmas scent of chestnut, fir branch and mulled wine. The 70 selected market stalls invite you to browse, taste and shop. In the middle of the market stalls with homemade and regional products you will find the "Samichlaus" in person and conjures up a smile on the face of many a small and large child. Chlausemäret is Solothurn dialect and means as much as Santa Claus market or Santa Claus mare. The anticipation of the Christmas season can begin.
