Solothurn is a very pretty, modest little town.
I’m Stefan Keller, a wheelchair user, coach, advisor, keynote speaker, paragliding instructor and athlete from Bellach. As someone with a physical disability, accessibility is a very important issue to me, and one to which I’m personally committed.
Favourite spot: There are a lot of great spots in and around Solothurn. My favourites are: in the air above the Weissenstein, by the Aare or the square in front of Solothurn Cathedral, looking out over Kronenplatz.
Solothurn is a very pretty, modest little town. Its central location at the southern foot of the Jura mountains, between the Weissenstein and the vast Swiss Plateau, provides protection, but also creates a certain openness and vision. Solothurn’s charm and stunning natural surroundings, as well as the economic appeal of the entire region, make Switzerland’s prettiest baroque town a real gem.
