The Balmberg is a family-friendly destination. In winter, skiers on the Balmberg benefit from a total of three lifts and five kilometres of pistes. Moreover it offers two restaurants, ski hire, a ski school and plenty of space to enjoy on a wonderful, sunny winter’s day. Most of the downhill runs are easy or moderately difficult and ideally suited for children and families, but more ambitious skiers and snowboarders can also have fun here.For night skiing, the Kähle slope is lit from Tuesday to Friday. The ski school and the possibility of sledging on the area between the Kurhaus and the Höfli lift make the Balmberg even more family-friendly. The Balmberg is easily accessible by car and public transport.

Arrival
By car: on the motorway Zurich-Bern: exit Wangen a. Aare, then left towards Wiedlisbach, in Wiedlisbach left towards Solothurn, after approx. 4km turn right: Hubersdorf, Günsberg, Balmberg. Parking fee CHF 5.00.
By post bus: Solothurn main station-Feldbrunnen-Riedholz-Hubersdorf-Günsberg-Balmberg. www.postautoflury.ch
