The DOCK Bar

Somewhere it’s written that “Solothurn is by the sea.” Well, not exactly—but it would be nice. What we can say for sure is this: The Dock—the bar in the heart of beautiful Baroque Solothurn—is located directly on the Aare River and probably has the last boat dock before the North Sea. The Dock is housed in the Solothurn Bürgerhaus dating from around 1890. It doesn’t get more authentic than this. With attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality, the bar truly honors its historical heritage.
