The challenging one. “Solothurn–Scheltenpass–Weissenstein” route

This tour leads from Solothurn through the Jura chain and over the Weissenstein back again. The warm-up ride to Mümliswil is easy, then it becomes more demanding: a climb through the Guldental to the Schelten Pass, a fast descent to Mervelier, rolling hills through the Val Terbi, and finally a steep final ascent up to Weissenstein. A well-earned beer awaits before the descent to Oberdorf at the Sennhaus Restaurant or Hotel Weissenstein.
