Mission Solothurn Tourismus
The purpose of the Region Solothurn Tourism association is to promote business, excursion and cultural tourism in the town and region of Solothurn, to an appropriate extent and with an emphasis on quality. Region Solothurn Tourism is responsible for carrying out publicity on behalf of the town of Solothurn.
The main objectives of Region Solothurn Tourism are to:
- Promote the town of Solothurn within Switzerland and in the surrounding countries
- Provide and sell tourism services and offers to individuals and groups, business travellers and MICE customers
- Establish its own distribution channels for tourism service providers and interested partners
- Foster a network of tourism service providers
- Make further training available to tourism service providers
- Provide information and act as an intermediary via phone, email or in person
- Prepare tourism information
- Represent Solothurn’s tourism interests in municipal and cantonal politics
